BIO:  My first venture into feature length comedy editing, Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same , premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for a Gotham Independent Film Award.  I enjoy the opportunity to work on both narrative and non-fiction projects and have edited everything from feature length narrative and documentary films to documentary television and web series.  I’ve also done freelance work for companies such as Part2 Pictures, Y&R, Comedy Central, A&E, Sharp Entertainment, and iNDemand.  I’m based out of New York City but am more than willing to travel.  I graduated San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Cinema and attended the six-week intensive course The Art of Film Editing at The Edit Center.

The name Hats Over The Wall is taken from the idea that if there is an obstacle (ex. a wall) getting in your way of achieving something then you should start by throwing your hat over that obstacle so you are then fully committed to climbing over that obstacle to get your hat back.  I strive to take this same approach towards film editing and life.  You’ve  got to be dedicated to reaching your goals.
